Grassroots campaigning has gotten tres fab!
In the early 90s, drag queen Anna Conda (a.k.a. Glendon Hyde) was a popular fixture of Manhattan's club scene, headlining at such venues as Pyramid and Boy Bar.

She now resides in San Francisco, where she's a nightlife celeb and vocal activist, fighting against Proposition 8 and cuts to AIDS funding.

Her latest venture: running a feisty and legit campaign for District 6 Supervisor (sounds impressive!). The focus of her campaign is gay and homeless rights!

Could this be the beginning of Anna Conda's political career? Is "Empress Anna Conda" on the horizon?

Yes we Conda!
